Ellen L. Stark retired in 2010 and relocated to Las Vegas from New Jersey in 2011. Her dream was always to be a photojournalist to document what she encountered in her environment while developing her creativity.
To further her dream of being a photographer Ellen enrolled in, and completed, courses in photography and photo software editing at University of Nevada Las Vegas to improve her skills while at the same time learning techniques from other photographers. Her art is a collection of different and various themed photographs (landscapes, animals, people & objects) that captured her attention and evoked a feeling.
In 2019 she published her first photobook titled: “The Other Las Vegas: Where We Live, Work, and Play, (available through Blurb.com; eBook version available on Amazon). Ellen is now working on her second photobook titled: “Ginger’s Adventures” and she is planning on publishing a third book.
